KITCHEN Installation And CUSTOMisAtion
If you’re looking to update or alter your kitchen, then we can install cabinets, laminate benchtops, splashbacks, doors, handles etc. it’s amazing what can be done with a little added flourish.
We don’t make kitchens, but we will happily install a kitchen that you’ve sourced that is in need of an installation.
While we’ve installed kitchens and cabinetry from many sources, we especially have many years experience installing flat-pack cabinets such as Kaboodle cabinets, from Bunnings. We find them to be of an excellent quality, and consistency, with a wide variety of modular options, we believe that they’re an economical way to add value and utility to any home.
Importantly, thanks to our extensive experience, the earlier that we’re involved in the design of the kitchen, the better the final product can be.
Therefore, we encourage you to use the ‘Request a Quote’ link above to get in contact with us today.
FRAMING AND FINISHING
Carpentry and woodwork such as timber frames for walls, infilling of old doorways and other non-structural work.
Finishing work such as architraves, skirting, moulding, dado boards, chair rails, decorative finishes, decking repairs, small stairs etc.
CUSTOM FURNITURE
From alterations of kitchen cabinets to making rustic coffe tables, or other 1 off pieces.
REPAIRS AND NEW
From installing new plaster throughout a whole room to patching small holes, including square setting doorways or other edges, as well as plaster cornicing.
SMALL TO LARGE JOBS
As a compliment to our other services, we’re also adept at painting walls, ceilings and woodwork.
Colour matching service: If you don’t know the colour but need to match it, we can scan the colour of existing flat surfaces to get as close as possible to get the best end result. (Please note that painted surfaces often have subtle variations in colour and can be effected by a number of factors, so scanning is not a completely invisible match. It is however usually very close, and suitable for most patching work). In some cases a larger area may need to be painted (e.g. 1 wall), to help disguise the small variation in colour.
This was one for the museum! We couldn’t decide if it was a kitchen trying to be a sauna, or the other way around.
The previous owner built this one himself. While it may be an ‘A’ for effort, it needed a change.
The old 1940’s kitchen was removed by the client, making way for a fresh start to the space.
A double garage in need of a kitchenette.
Damaged walls with a dodgy repair job, damaged architraves and skirting, with grime on all surfaces.
What a transformation! This was a Kaboodle Kichen that made a significant improvement to the space.
A Kaboodle kitchen, with matching light coloured backsplash tiles, and deep breakfast bar counter top creates a wonderful cooking space, ready for the whole family. The oven, fridges and full height pantry units are to the left.
The new cute Kaboodle kitchenette, makes a cheerful upgrade, leaving space for a dishwasher and a fridge.
A great additional catering spot, ready for the next party! Also Kaboodle.
All surfaces cleaned, damage repaired properly, replastered, then repainted.
Terrible paint colours, on a surface that hadn't been prepared properly. Window frame had rotted away almost completely (just above brick below the number 10).
Stripped back paint to solid foundation, repaired rotted timber.
(photo from part way through) Original kitchen that had not been looked after was removed. Original location of door was on right which could not work with modern requirements.
Door moved, replastered. New kitchen installed, which modernised this house to be ready for sale.
Plaster was broken in several places, with a lot of dings and marks, not to mention the grime.
All surfaces scrubbed clean, plaster repaired including replacing some sections, all surfaces repainted.
Dirty and so many colours, including gloss bright yellow, a lot of damage to the walls and doors including dings and one large hole in the plaster.
All surfaces cleaned and damage to walls fixed including replacing sections of plaster sheet, other areas patched. Extra coat of paint to cover yellow colour on 2 walls.
An old and tired kitchen in a rental property, was in desparate need of replacement.
A simple and cheerful Kaboodle uplift, this update increased the value of the property, as well as the rental income.
This Kaboodle kitchen was a great improvement. There’s a full height pantry, and oven etc. off screen to the left.

About Me
I started learning about tools as a boy from my dad, a mechanical engineer. He had always been handy, building several houses in his early 20's in England. Match that with the keen eye of an Engineer and the patience of an old school thinker, I was in good hands.
Dad and I built many things together, from kitchens to wooden toys, especially when he 'retired' and took up Handyman work.
My love for creating flourished, leading me to qualifying as a Carpenter, with a focus on custom and renovation work.
In the years since I've renovated houses for myself and others from top to bottom including plastering, painting, tiling and woodwork, built custom furniture from recycled and aged timbers, installed many a kitchen (new or repurposed) and as well as a wide variety of handyman work.
Personally, I love the challenge of a new task, the thrill of creativity and the satisfaction that comes from a job well done.
The best part for me is the appreciative smile from the client at the end that lets me know that I've done well.
I look forward to helping you with your project.
Sheldon.
MY PROMISE
I’ll only work with the correct materials for the job. I never compromise quality for time and give good faith estimates on timeframes that accommodate clients' busy lives.
I strive for honest customer service, so that while some material orders may require payment up front, for smaller jobs labour costs are usually only paid in full when the finished work is completed.
For larger jobs weekly part payments are usually required, but always for work already done.
Your happiness is my goal.
Sheldon.
